Our WordPress business training course is a classroom-based, hands on workshop for businesses and organisations with an existing WordPress website. You will learn how to navigate the dashboard, create, edit and publish content, add blog posts, images and videos, plugins and widgets, manage users, customise your site, and much, much more.
Managing a website is often presented in a way as to seem overly difficult or “techie” and only something the IT department should handle. This need not be the case. WordPress is a hugely popular Content Management System (CMS) which anyone can use with only a modicum of internet and word processing skills. We demystify the tech, give you confidence and show you how to do it yourself.
WordPress Business Training is the perfect way to learn how to take control of your WordPress website and online presence.

Course Requirements
All participants must have an existing WordPress website for which they have access to the dashboard. WordPress is based on a hierarchical access system. Participants must ideally have full admin access. Editor and author access may not be sufficient depending on the level of understanding and customisation required.
All participants must bring their own laptop computers. Both Apple Macs and PCs are fine. iPads and tablets are not suitable.
This course is an ideal environment to add real content with the guidance of a tutor. It is very interactive and you will be adding and editing content throughout the day. Please bring with you sample or real content you would like to add. This can include text, images, videos, PDFs and the like. If in doubt, just bring what you have.
A basic knowledge of word processing, e.g. Microsoft Word, is helpful and it is recommended participants make a backup of their website prior to the course.
